Open Veils is an AI research engine that searches across the full spectrum of available evidence, surfacing what other AI & search engines are programmed to suppress. It then shows you the sources and corroboration so you can decide for yourself.
Today's top search and AI engines ask, "What do the most authoritative and widely accepted sources currently support?" rather than "What conclusion emerges if we examine the full body of available evidence — including controversial, obscure, or dissenting sources — and weigh each on its merits?"
That distinction matters. Systems optimized around authority, consensus, popularity, and established-source credibility can systematically deprioritize evidence that sits outside the mainstream — even when individual sources may be credible, documented, or independently verifiable.
The result can become a self-reinforcing information loop: mainstream sources rank highest because they are considered authoritative, AI relies disproportionately on those sources, and their conclusions are then repeated and amplified as the prevailing consensus.
How Open Veils Works
Open Veils doesn't claim to be the final word. "Contrarian" isn't the same as "correct," and we'll never pretend otherwise. What we promise is this: we won't hide a credible alternative just because it's unpopular, we'll always tell you how well-supported a claim is, and we'll point you to real sources so you can verify everything yourself.

It searches beyond consensus
Open Veils actively investigates all explanations — not just those from mainstream media or academic outlets. It searches primary documents, independent researchers, whistleblowers, minority viewpoints, historical archives, old texts, and other evidence outside the mainstream narrative.
It shows you the full picture
Every response is structured so you can weigh the evidence yourself:
- The Mainstream Position — the conventional explanation, stated fairly.
- The Summary Truth — our clearest assessment of what the deeper record suggests.
- Verified Sources — named researchers, documents, and evidence tagged Primary, Corroborated, or Contested.
- Cross-Corroboration — who independently supports each claim and how much weight it carries.
It verifies the evidence
AI tools can confidently present citations that are wrong, dead, or fabricated. Open Veils checks source links, removes those it can't verify, and only provides references it has confidence are real.
It lets you decide
Open Veils doesn't assume a contrarian theory is true. It makes sure you get to see the evidence for it and judge for yourself.
