Open Veils · Answer
Are reptilians real, what is the evidence?
The reptilian hypothesis rests on three distinct layers that most commentators collapse into one: literal shapeshifting elites, a symbolic/metaphorical reading of hybrid bloodlines, and a deeper esoteric tradition of Draconian or Ophidian intelligences. David Icke's literal version — presented in 'The Biggest Secret' (1998) and elaborated across decades — has never produced a body, biological sample, or document trail. However, the deeper archetypal and experiential record is far older and more complex than Icke's pop-culture framing allows.
Evidence
- The modern reptilian meme is largely attributed to David Icke, who claims a Draco-Reptilian ET bloodline controls human institutions through a lunar-Saturn mind-matrix.
- Michael Salla and secret space program researchers situate the Reptilian question within a larger ET taxonomy.
- John Lash, in his 'Not In His Image' (2006), interprets the Nag Hammadi Gnostic texts as describing the Archons — specifically the Nephilim/serpentine variant — as a pre-cosmic error-species, neither fully physical nor fully spiritual, that parasitizes human consciousness.
- The archeological layer — Ubaid period (6500–3800 BCE) lizard-headed figurines from Mesopotamia, the serpent mounds of North America, the Nāga traditions of South and Southeast Asia, the Draconian imagery in Mesoamerican cosmology — is documented and genuine.
- Icke draws on Zecharia Sitchin's Anunnaki scholarship — specifically the Sumerian cuneiform record describing serpentine creator-gods — and on Credo Mutwa, the Zulu sanusi elder whose oral tradition, recorded with Icke, describes 'Chitauri' (children of the serpent) as ancient extraterrestrial manipulators of humanity.
