Are we in a prison planet?
The prison-planet hypothesis is among the oldest surviving cosmological frameworks, rooted in Gnostic texts predating orthodox Christianity by centuries. Nag Hammadi scholarship, Theosophical cosmology, remote-viewing testimony, and secret-space-program whistleblowers independently converge on a core architecture: amnesia between lives, non-human administration of reincarnation, and an energetic quarantine. The debate within this record is not whether a control system exists, but who runs it, how it was installed, and whether exit is possible.
Evidence
- The Nag Hammadi library — translated and popularized by scholar Elaine Pagels — preserves the earliest systematic account: Archons, described as blind administrators created by the Demiurge, govern material reality and harvest human pneuma (spiritual energy) to sustain themselves.
- Rudolf Steiner's Ahrimanic cosmology and Manly P. Hall's synthesis of Hermetic tradition both describe a post-Atlantean quarantine in which higher faculties of human consciousness were deliberately suppressed by adversarial intelligences to prevent premature escape from the material plane.
- On the UFO-consciousness interface, Ingo Swann's remote-viewing work under Hal Puthoff at SRI described what he called a 'soul recycling system' — a non-physical infrastructure that intercepts consciousness at death and reinserts it into new physical bodies stripped of prior-life memory.
- Secret-space-program whistleblower Corey Goode, as documented extensively by Michael Salla, claims briefings describing a 'soul trap' technology — a frequency net around Earth that intercepts departing souls and reroutes them.
- Zecharia Sitchin's Anunnaki hypothesis frames the prison in explicitly physical-historical terms: humanity was genetically engineered as a slave species, with longevity deliberately truncated and cosmological knowledge deliberately withheld.
