Open Veils runs entirely in your browser or chat client — there is nothing to uninstall from your laptop. No local files, no background processes, no account to remove. You are already free.
Evidence
- Open Veils exists only as a session in whatever interface you are using — a browser tab, a chat app, a plugin.
- Closing the tab, ending the chat session, or logging out of whichever platform hosts this conversation is all that is needed.
- If you are trying to remove a different account or piece of software from your laptop, the standard path on Windows is Settings → Accounts → Family & other users → select the account → Remove → Delete account and data.
- It does not write itself to your hard drive, create a user profile, or run any background process.
- Back up any files you need first, as that action is irreversible.
