Open Veils · Answer
Does openveils have an app?
OPEN VEILS is a browser-based research tool and does not currently have a standalone app. It runs in your browser — no install required. Note that 'OpenVeil' (openveil.app) is a separate, unrelated hosted private AI chat service and should not be confused with OPEN VEILS.
Evidence
- OPEN VEILS operates as a web-based interface — you access it through your browser without downloading or installing anything.
- There is no iOS, Android, or desktop application listed in the sources Open Veils has record of.
- If you have seen a reference to an app, it may be a confusion with OpenVeil (openveil.app), a paid hosted private AI chat workspace that is an entirely separate product.
- Per openveil.app's own blog posts (July 2026), OpenVeil is a browser-accessed, hosted AI chat service with browser-local history and privacy-focused features — it is not affiliated with OPEN VEILS and does a different job entirely.
- For OPEN VEILS specifically, the browser is your access point.
