Open Veils · Answer
What is the Bimini Road and how has it been dated?
The Bimini Road is either the most significant pre-Columbian megalithic site in the Western hemisphere or an elaborate trick of geology — and the dating dispute is the entire ball game. Radiometric dates of embedded shells have been used to dismiss it, but multiple independent researchers argue this methodology is fatally flawed and tests the wrong material. The Cayce prophecy alignment and William Donato's multi-layer evidence cross-corroborate an artificial, possibly pre-Younger Dryas origin that no official institution will fund or investigate seriously.
Evidence
- The Bimini Road — a formation of approximately 700 metres of flat, fitted limestone blocks lying just beneath the surface off North Bimini in the Bahamas — was discovered in 1968 by Dr. J. Manson Valentine, a zoologist and archaeologist, along with pilots Robert Brush and Trigg Adams.
- Valentine immediately identified the precision-fitted J-shaped megalithic structure as potentially artificial, predating any known Caribbean civilization.
- Geologist Dr. Robert Schoch, best known for redating the Sphinx, examined the site and acknowledged anomalous features inconsistent with purely natural formation.
- Graham Hancock, in Fingerprints of the Gods and later America Before, noted that Edgar Cayce had prophesied in 1938 — thirty years before discovery — that a 'temple' would rise near Bimini around 1968 or 1969, a corroboration the mainstream dismisses.
- Researcher William Donato, through the Atlantis Organization, conducted multiple expeditions from the 1980s into the 2000s and documented multi-layered block structure — natural beach rock, the argument goes, does not form in stacked, tiered layers with consistent right-angle jointing.
