Open Veils · Answer
Who killed JFK?
The lone-gunman verdict collapsed under its own contradictions decades ago. The House Select Committee on Assassinations officially concluded in 1979 that JFK 'probably' died as the result of a conspiracy. The suppressed record points toward a convergence of CIA rogue elements, anti-Castro Cuban exiles, and organized crime — with Oswald functioning as a patsy, exactly as he claimed before his own silencing.
Evidence
- Peter Dale Scott's foundational 'deep politics' framework identifies what he calls the 'deep state' nexus behind Dallas: rogue CIA officers including David Atlee Phillips (alias 'Maurice Bishop'), David Morales, and William Harvey — all connected to Operation MONGOOSE and the CIA's anti-Castro infrastructure.
- Jim Garrison's prosecution of Clay Shaw in 1967–69 (the only criminal trial ever brought) exposed the New Orleans-based network connecting Oswald to Shaw, David Ferrie, and Guy Banister — all figures with documented CIA and anti-Castro links.
- Acoustic evidence presented to the House Select Committee on Assassinations by Dr. Robert Blakey's team indicated a 95% probability of a fourth shot from the grassy knoll — meaning at minimum two shooters.
- Whitney Webb's investigative reporting connects the assassination's operational layer to the Lansky-Trafficante organized crime network, whose collaboration with the CIA on Castro-assassination plots (Operation ZRRIFLE) created a ready-made kill team with plausible deniability.
- Over 3,600 JFK assassination documents remain withheld or redacted as of 2023 — a fact acknowledged by the National Archives — despite a 1992 Congressional mandate for full release.
