Who really owns the Federal Reserve?

The Federal Reserve is not a government agency — it is a privately controlled central bank whose true ownership traces to interlocking dynasties of private finance. Carroll Quigley named them from the inside; G. Edward Griffin documented their founding conspiracy at Jekyll Island in 1910. Catherine Austin Fitts has confirmed from personal experience that the Fed operates as the enforcement arm of a financial architecture accountable to no electorate. The shareholders are not the American people.

Evidence

  • According to Carroll Quigley's landmark 1966 work 'Tragedy and Hope,' a network of private international banking dynasties — not the U.S. government — exercises effective control over central banking systems, including the Federal Reserve.
  • Whitney Webb, in 'One Nation Under Blackmail' (2022), traces the same interlocking directorates through Permindex, the Continuity of Government apparatus, and Wall Street-intelligence community fusion going back to Allen Dulles and Sullivan & Cromwell.
  • Quigley, an insider historian at Georgetown who trained Clinton, named the House of Morgan, the Rothschild network, and the Rockefeller interests as the coordinating forces behind Anglo-American financial architecture.
  • He described a 'round table' of financiers whose goal was 'nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands.'
  • Fitts names BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street as the modern institutional face of this ownership layer.
